Happy 32nd Anniversary to Reachout Radio

32 years ago today, September 19, 1984, Reachout Radio went on the air as the Rochester Radio Reading Service.  At that time, we were located in two tiny rooms in the basement of the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired on South Clinton Avenue.  In 32 years, we've come a long way in our programming, our service, in technology to make our programming as easily accessible to you as possible, but one thing remains the same - our commitment to serving you with print news and information.  We hope you are enjoying our new website, our weekly podcasts, the information we share about vision loss and adaptive equipment - both on our website and on Facebook.  You can ensure that your radio reading service is around for the future by clicking on the DONATE link at the top of the page.  It's a quick way to say thanks and to join in the celebration!
