These web sources are updated multiple times per day, and scheduling an appointment takes persistance and patience. It is recommended that you use as many resources as possible to schedule a vaccine: the NYS site, your local pharmacy, your local Wegmans stores and other sites in the community. Many of the sites are accessed through the NYS page, but local pharmacies and stores must be contacted directly.
Even though the numbers of people being vaccinated is going up, it is important that we all continue to practice CDC recommended guidelines, such as wearing a mask, washing hands frequently, and maintaining a safe social distance.
*ALERT: The Federal Government determines how much vaccine New York State receives. The Federal Government has given New York approximately 400,000 vaccines/week for over 12 million people who are eligible – as a result supply is very limited*
Vaccines are available at pharmacies, hospitals, local health departments and Federally Qualified Health Centers statewide – please contact your provider of choice to schedule your vaccine appointment.
Additionally, there is a network of State-run sites distributing vaccine statewide – to determine eligibility and to schedule a first-dose appointment through April 16 at New York State-run vaccination sites only, Am I Eligible app.
AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED. IF YOU VISIT A LOCATION WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A VACCINE.
