Day trips to Hamlin Beach have been a summertime staple for generations of local families. The park’s sprawling, sandy beach provides plenty of space to soak up the sun and build sandcastles, and its multiple swimming areas ensure that even when the beach is busy, it doesn’t feel crowded. Make sure to bring $9 for the “vehicle entrance fee.”
