Priscilla Yeung, NOMC, who became legally blind as a teenager due to Optic Nerve Atrophy, is a coordinator for the Senior Impact Project of Society for the Blind in Sacramento, CA. But the path that brought her to this point had many hurdles.
As a youth, she felt invisible, different, like there were so many barriers to overcome. But overcome them she did. Once she met blind people who were living independently and successfully, and learned about accessible technology and Braille, she became more confident.
