Broadway Is My Beat debuted in February 1949. The radio crime drama portrayed Times Square Detective Danny Clover. Starting in July 1949 the series was broadcast from Hollywood with producer Elliot Lewis directing a new cast in scripts by Morton Fine and David Friedkin.
