This past winter I had an unexpected vision loss with a torn retina in one eye and a detached vitreous in the other, caused by nothing more than aging. None of us knows when these things may happen, and there is nothing we can do to prevent "age-related" vision loss. That's why it's important to have WXXI Reachout Radio, to provide access to print news and information for those who need it.
I'm pleased to announce that a $20,000 matching challenge grant has been offered from a dear friend of WXXI Reachout Radio. Your gift in any amount will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by this generous donor until October 30, 2018 or we reach the cap. Your gift will not only help us make up the funding shortfall, but you will also be insuring that access to information will continue to be available when the unexpected happens.
Please make your most generous gift today by clicking on the red DONATE button at the top of the page.
